Still no internet, we are on Day 16 today. A service technician was supposed to come out yesterday, however at 11am I got an automated call from FairPoint saying the appointment was canceled. Upon getting this call I phoned Tech Support inquiring when they will be out, I got a simple “we will call you when.” I’m extremely aggravated, I’d love to switch to someone else unfortunately they are the only game in town!
Just to update we’ve gone officially one week (7 days to the day) without internet access at home. Still no signs of even an ETA as when it will be up and running again. It shouldn’t take 7 days to fix a simple line issue. I understand they are on strike, but I always thought people who worked there put the customer first…without us there is no need for them to have a job.
